Hiiiiii!! My name is abridayy (but you can call me abri)!! Im an artist from lithuania, and i love music, arts, clothing, collecting, fashion, movies, flowers, animals, everything beautiful that is under this sun. I collect vinyls and just started to collect cd’s not too long ago. I am a hugeee antiques/vintage fan i love everything vintage and i virtually never buy anything new from the store, every each and one of my material belongings are THRIFTED (exception being some art supplies and vynils). like to try out a lot of different hobbies and styles, especially if I’ve never done that before but have been interested in that for a bit. mainly a traditional artist/painter. When god created me, he wrote my name in glitter, but thats another way of saying that I am autistic. I also love talking. These days im not as active as i used to be in the past, as of now I’ve been focusing a lot of my attention to real life. I love hanging out with my friends and talking to people. i go out to a lot of social centres, concert venues, DIY spaces, just cool places in general, I like exploring. These are usually the safe spaces for queers, punks, and artists alike. And with this website, i wanted to express my gratitude towards life. My fav video games, movies, songs, albums, artists, masterpieces, trinkets, thoughts, dreams, flowers, everything. But i think that a lot of people within the old web revival space can agree, that its not just the individuality that is attractive to the community, which that has also inspired me to join this space in the first place, but also the decent away from the social media. I think we lost something magnificent, magnificent that is the human creation. i cannot speak on the matter that is about the old web, as i myself was not even born during that time. I can only rely on the possibly cherry picked examples, stories from that time, that might not actually correlate with what was true back then, i simply could not tell you directly what it was like. But i think we can all see the clear distinction between the “web” (if you can even call it anymore) that is today. I feel sickened, to just how numb we are to the blatant shittification of the web. The desensitisation to monitoring, the control, the shrinkage of spaces for young teens to interact with, the monopolisation, the manipulation, how much of the things that youre seeing through youre screen are actually real? The web is not about connecting but what it became of it was the intentions of mass control. Everything IS intentional with these companies, and the influencers, and the YouTubers, and the bloggers, and the podcasters. I am tireddddd, i am tired of waking up to another bombshell of a reminder why we’re in the late stage capitalism, and im not going to be the one to pretend its alright, im simply just not buying it. I hate everything that this cold, dead, artificial dumpster fire stands for. I think my last straw was when elon snot mucus decided to scrape all the images uploaded to twitter for AI lol biggest loaded dipper of shit ive ever read that day. But beside all the obvious anger towards the internet, i think that the biggest inspiration to creating my website, was when i was talking to my friend, and they recommended me this artist’s website, Ming Lee. That really inspired me to go on and create one my self cuz that was singlehandedly the coolest shit ive seen anyone do, that was amazing, and the music and the website was fire too (i recommend checking her out). I doubt that its ever going to be 100% finished, and i do not care about what other people might think of me, and i dont wanna be put in a place of being some kind of an influencer, the kind where they must deliver or else the audience will not be entertained, idc, im a person just like you and i got a life to live. I wanna try to convey so many things within me into this website, and i encourage others to do so as well.
